A warm thank you to the volunteers that helped sort, date and shelve food items for the Apple Valley Food Pantry. On August 11th, Jeannie Feavel, Bryan & Kris Reising, Megan Beyer, Barb Kempen, Sam, Nathan & Ann Wood, Keegan & Alissa Murphy, Jason & Julie Sieg, Lew & Yolanda Tesch, and Bob & Barb Luedtke organized the many donated food pantry items for distribution to approximately 25 area WELS churches. Mount Olive has always been very generous donating food items and gifts of money to support members going through times of difficulty such as job loss, medical emergency, or any event in which a monthly delivery of pantry items and a grocery gift card would help an individual or family through a challenging time. What a blessing to be able to feed the physical needs along with the spiritual needs of our church families. If you know of an individual or family that would benefit from receiving monthly deliveries, please share their name and situation with one of the pastors.
