Medication and cough drops

Regarding the administration of any medication at school, even cough drops, the state expects us to follow certain procedures. They are listed below. Thank you!
 
All medication s, including cough drops, are to be brought to the school office in its original package or container. No medication of any type will be given to a student without an Administration of Consent form completed by the parent/guardian and/or physicia n, including dosage, route, and exact times to be given. “As Needed” is not allowed for time of administration. These forms are available in the school office and on-line . Please inform your child’s teacher should your child be under medication which might affect the child in class.
