The food pantry's next collection date is Sunday, August 9. The following items are needed by the pantry: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, pasta sauces, chunky soups, pork-n-beans/baked beans, canned tomato products, packaged rice and noodle side dishes, canned fruit, toilet paper and paper towels. August is Mount Olive’s turn to provide man-power for the Food Pantry. We’ll work at St. Matthew’s Church (129 S Mason St.) Saturday, Aug. 8 from 9-11:30 AM and Sunday, Aug. 9 from 9-11:30 AM.
