Choice Program and Tuition Assistance
 The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) application window is open. If you qualify for the WPCP, please apply. To apply for the 2021-22 school year, CLICK HERE. If you have any questions about the WPCP, the application process, or whether or not your family should apply, call/text Mount Olive's Choice Coordinator, Laura Nason at 920-843-1524 or email her at school.choice@mountoliveappleton.com
 
For the benefit of your families and our Mount Olive school, we highly encourage all who are eligible to apply. Enrollment in the WPCP not only helps the families in the program but also our school as a whole by 1) freeing up additional funding to be allocated toward other families in need, and 2) the purchase of updated/improved materials and more staffing to educate our students.
Helpful Application Tips:
  1. An email address is required to being the WPCP application.
  2. Determine your residency documentation before applying.
    • Valid residency documentation includes:
      • Wage statements or year-end W2 wage statements
      • Current water, sewer, gas, electric, cable, satellite, or a landline phone bill (Cell phone bills are not acceptable proof of residency.
      • Recent letter from any of the above utilities
      • Current lease agreement which includes lease dates and address
      • Recent government correspondence
    • The address entered in the application must exactly match the address on the residency documentation.
    • The first and last name(s) on the application must match at least one name on the residency documentation.
  3. If you are applying to the WPCP for the first time or were ineligible last year, have your income documentation organized before applying. (If you were accepted into the WPCP last year, you have already met the income requirements and can skip this section).
    • Income documentation can include W-2s, 1099s, and/or completed 2020 taxes.
    • The first and last name(s) on the application must exactly match the names on your income documentation.
    • Use the DPI Income verification method (Department of Public Instruction's method)
      • The DOR (Department of Revenue) income verification method can use any of your filed taxes from the last several years. If the DOR determines your application to be ineligible, the decision is final and cannot be overturned.
  4. During the application, you will be asked for your school district. Please select the district in which you reside. Do not guess.
  5. For ALL families: When the application is complete, bring or send your proof of residency to Laura, Mount Olive's Choice Coordinator.
  6. For NEW families: When the application is complete, bring or send your proof of income to Laura, Mount Olive's Choice Coordinator.
    • Call/text Laura at 920-843-1524 or email her at school.choice@mountoliveappleton.com to arrange a time to verify your information with you; OR
    • Bring your income and residency proof to the school office to be placed in her mailbox. Laura will let you know when she has reviewed it.
Please apply as early as you can to ensure we have time to verify all your documentation before April 16th. Early applications also give the school more time to adequately prepare for budgeting and staffing. We are looking forward to the WPCP continuing to be a beneficial program for our Mount Olive families and our school.

The application window for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) and Mount Olive’s Tuition Assistance program runs until 4/15. WPCP offers families the opportunity to have their student’s Mount Olive tuition fully funded. Families who do not meet WPCP eligibility are welcome to apply for Mount Olive's Tuition Assistance program. WPCP details and eligibilit y charts are located in Mount Olive's Atrium and School Office as well as online at dpi.wi.gov/choice . Questions?
