Our second Anchor Group activity is coming up in just a couple of weeks! We are going to be assembling Blessing Bags to give to the Cancer Center here in the Fox Valley. These bags will be set out at the Cancer Center for patients coming in for treatment. The bags will include calming activities to do during chemotherapy, health/hygiene items, Christian encouragement, a flyer about Mount Olive, and cards of encouragement made by the students.

We are asking for your help in donating the materials needed for the bags. We have provided a list of suggestions of things we would like to include. To help keep the donations organized, please sign up on the Sign-Up Genius for anything that you are planning to donate.

On the day of our Anchor Group, each group will decorate the bags, make the cards, and put in the items that have been collected. On the back of this letter is a list of the items we need. If you would prefer, you can donate money to be used to purchase supplies. You can also donate $10 gas/grocery gift cards or even gift cards to Target/Walmart/Meijer, etc.

All items, gift cards, and/or money need to be brought to the classroom teachers by Friday, November 19th.
