Appropriate dress and appearance for the occasions of Christmas, confirmation and graduation is very important. For 6-8 grades at Christmas (as well as Confirmation and Graduation for 8^th graders) boys will be expected to wear a dress shirt and tie with dress pants. Coats are optional. A sweater is also optional. Girls may wear dresses. Please show modesty, which means that the top half of the dress is not too low or revealing and that the bottom half of the dress is no more than three inches above the knee. There should be no exposed cleavage. The dress should fit properly and not be unnecessarily tight. Strapless or spaghetti strap dresses are discouraged. If worn, the girl will require a sweater or some sort of covering. As a rule, if the dress is questionable, it is not advisable to wear it. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
