Closings and/or delays Mount Olive:

Based on information available to me, the Principal tries to make an informed decision as soon as possible. Please note that if Mount Olive should cancel school due to weather concerns, you will be informed in the following ways: Text (if you're setup properly on School Speak), email, postings on social media accounts, on the school website, and on a variety of news stations. If you rely on news stations for your information you need to look for "Mount Olive Lutheran School." We are not included in the Appleton Area School District's decision nor Fox Valley Lutheran High School's decision. Please make sure to have a plan in place should Mount Olive cancel school and you need a place for your children to go!

 

The decision that is made to cancel or delay is based on weather forecasts and road conditions around Mount Olive. If you do not feel it is safe to bring your child to school due to road conditions near your home, do not bring him/her. It will not count as an absence. Then, bring him/her to school when you feel it is safe. The teachers will be very flexible in this as it relates to missed instruction and homework.
